Event Day

1When should I arrive on event day?
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your start time. If you will be picking up your wristband on event day, please allow 45 minutes.
2What should I wear?
ROC Race features water, foam and other elements. We suggest wearing clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty in and comfortable running shoes that will enable you to complete the 5k course. All participants must wear enclosed shoes to complete the event. Costumes are also highly encouraged ;)
3What can I bring onto the course with me?
Participants are welcome to bring items such as GoPros, sunglasses, hats, phones, etc. However, all loose items must be secured to the participant. All items brought on the course are at your own risk. Items can be lost, damaged or stolen. ROC Race is not responsible for any items that are lost, stolen or damaged.
4Is there somewhere to leave our belongings?
Yes, there is a free bag check at the event. You will receive two wristbands at bag check – one to ear on your wrist and one attached to your bag. Please note: ROC Race is not responsible for any personal item or property that is lost, damaged or stolen at the event.
5Are spectators are allowed to attend?
Yes, spectators are welcome to come along free of charge. While spectators are not allowed on the course, they can spectate from the side lines.
6What do you suggest I bring?
Bring a towel, change of clothes, shoes and some extra cash for parking, food, merchandise, etc. If it’s going to be nice and warm outside, remember to slip, slop, slap!
7What should I not be bringing?
ROC Race does not permit pets, BBQ’s, coolers, glass containers or alcohol at any of our events.
8The weather is ridiculous! What do we do?
ROC Race is an all-weather event, which means ROC Race will operate in any weather condition that we still consider safe for our participants. A little bit of rain never hurt a ROC Star, especially since there are water elements throughout the course anyway! In the event of an extreme weather condition such as a thunder or lightning, we will inform you of any changes to our event schedule via email, our web page for the event, and our Facebook page.
9What if I have lost an item?
If you lose an item at the event, please head to the Race Solutions desk. Our team here will be able to note down your details and reach out should the item be located during or post event.
