1How do I register?
To register for an event, simply jump onto our locations page and click your city name. If tickets are not yet on sale for your city, make sure you sign up to our VIP list so you can stay in the loop! www.rocrace.com.au/vip
2Can I register on behalf of somebody else?
Yes! Get your procrastinating mates into shape by just doing it for them (sigh)! Once you select to 'create a team' when you're registering yourself, you will have the option to prepay for additional team members. Simply enter the number of additional tickets you'd like - excluding yourself from this number! If you know who will be running with you, be sure to hit 'invite now' after you've entered in the number of additional tickets you like. When doing this, you will be prompted to enter in their email address so they are sent an email to fill in their own details, once you have made payment. If you're not sure who will be utilising the tickets yet (or you just don't know your mates email address), you can just skip the invite step and do this post registration by logging into your account. NOTE: You will not be able to enter the same email address on multiple tickets for anyone over 18 - so get that group text going asking for their emails!
3How do I send through a prepaid invite after I've registered?
If you purchased a ticket on behalf of your friend, you'll need to make sure they jump online and register themselves before the event! To do so, simply login to your account on myevents.active.com. Once you've logged in, hit 'team center'. Once you scroll down to the bottom of this page, you will see the option to resend invitations to everyone. Alternatively, you can just resend a specific invitation by scrolling over their name and clicking the blue arrow (or the paper aeroplane logo - however you think it looks!). If you entered a typo in one of the email addresses, or need to send the invitation to an alternate email, you can scroll over the original email address and hit the minus sign to revoke the invitation.
4How many tickets can I purchase in one transaction?
You will be able to prepay for up to 99 tickets in one transaction! You will only be given the option to prepay for other team members if you select to register 'yourself'. You will receive the option to prepay for others once you choose to create a team.
5How do I register if I am under 18?
If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must complete the registration form and sign the required waivers. To register someone under the age of 18, the parent or legal guardian will need to create a new Active account, or login to their existing Active account and select ‘register someone else under 18’. The parent or legal guardian’s information will be entered into the top of the form under ‘your information’, followed by the minor’s information under ‘participant information’. The minor must also bring along a physical copy of the minor waiver on the event day. No waiver = no play! Click here to download the minor waiver.
6What is included with registration?
Your registration includes wristband, finishers medal, towel, entry to the course and access to the post-race activities.
7What is a wave?
All participants are divided into start times to ensure the safety of participants on the course. While registering, you will need to select a general start wave (e.g. Wave 1 or Wave 2). Within this wave, you will be allocated a specific start time, which you will be notified of in the weeks prior to the event. When registering, you will need to acknowledge you are available to start at any time within your wave.
8How can I transfer from one wave to another?
To transfer from one wave to another (e.g. wave 1 to wave 2), for the same event, you can do so by logging into your Active account at myevents.active.com and selecting “change event category”. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer. Wave transfers are permitted up to 4 weeks prior to the event, and are based on availability. Please note: there will be a fee incurred for all wave transfers.
9How do I know what my start time is?
We will send you an email in the weeks prior to the event with your specific start time. Make sure to check your junk/spam folder too to ensure it doesn't get lost in cyber space!
